The World Poker Tour has recently released the first half of its schedule for Season 21, which includes four exciting destinations starting in April. Fans of the tour will be thrilled to learn that the schedule kicks off with a return to the popular Thunder Valley Casino for the $3,500 WPT Rolling Thunder event, marking the first Main Tour stop in the area since the pandemic.
The tour then heads to sunny South Florida for the $3,500 World Poker Tour Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown, which has become a favorite among regulars for its hospitality and beautiful beaches. From there, the action moves to Durant, Oklahoma for the $3,800 WPT Choctaw Championship, hosted at Choctaw Casino for the eighth time. This event has a special significance, as last year’s winner, Chance Kornuth, raised funds for cancer treatment of a beloved dealer.
Finally, the tour returns to California for the $5,250 World Poker Tour Gardens Poker Championship at Gardens Casino in the Los Angeles area. All Main Tour events will be televised on Bally Sports, giving fans at home the chance to catch all the action.
WPT CEO Adam Pliska expressed excitement about the upcoming season, citing new partnerships and continued relationships with longstanding staples of the tour. The second half of the schedule is yet to be finalized and will be announced next year.
