After a rough end to January where he lost over $350k at PokerStars nosebleed tables Ben “Sauce123” Sulsky hit back yesterday with an impressive $184,721 profit made from the PLO and mixed games.
Sauce played for four hours from late morning through to mid-afternoon yesterday. For the first hour of his sessionSauce played at a total of ten $50/$100 PLO tables against the likes of St1ckman, BERRI SWEET, gavz101, and EEE27 where he made a $21k profit.
By far his biggest win of the day, however, came from a four hour match at the $1k/$2k mixed-game tables. The match started heads-up between Sauce and Mikael “ChaoRen160” Thuritz around twenty minutes into the aforementioned PLO sessions. The pair were joined after 40 minutes by Russian pro Timofey “Trueteller” Kuznetsov.
For the first two hours of the match Sauce beat up on both ChaoRen160 and Trueteller, at one point going up$230k for the day. During the final hour and a half, however, Trueteller began to make a comeback from his low point of -$100k. At first it was ChaoRen160 who continued to suffer before eventually quitting the table down over $250k. Trueteller also began to hit back at Sauce, winning $100k from him in just over an hour. It was Sauce who had the final say, however, winning back $60k in the last 40 minutes of the match to leave the table up $163,828.
The second biggest match of the day took place between Viktor “Isildur1” Blom and German pro donthnrmepls back at the $1k/$2k 2-7 Triple Draw tables where they have played so many big battles of late. It looked odds on to be another good day for donthnrmepls as he won $110k in 90 minutes from Isildur1. However, after the pair switched tables it was Isildur1 who took control, winning $144,636 over the next hour an a half. Isildur1 had earlier won $23k from joiso at the $200/$400 8-Game tables and ended the day with a $59k profit.
