Following a successful jaunt to Killarney in September, partypoker is back in Ireland for the €150,000 guaranteed Grand Prix Dublin event.

Taking place at the Clayton Hotel in the capital city of the Emerald Isle, the Grand Prix Dublin Main Event looks set to attract some of the biggest names in British and Irish poker, and probably from further afield.

Satellites for Grand Prix Dublin have been running at partypoker for several weeks and the Online Day 1s commenced April 24. These Online Day 1s take place at partypoker at 9 p.m. on April 26 and April 27, cost $360 (€340) to enter and see players battle it out at the virtual felt for 13 levels of 15 minutes each.

Anyone who manages to progress from an Online Day 1 to the live Day 2 in Dublin is automatically entered into the final table challenge, which adds even more value to the tournament.

Day 2 gets underway at 1 p.m. on May 1. Play continues until only one player remains, with that player becoming the 2017 Grand Prix Dublin champion.

If your Grand Prix Dublin doesn’t go to plan, there will be some side events, plus cash games will be held around the clock with blinds starting at €1/€2.
