A €25,000 buy-in Super High Roller event finished at the 2017 partypokerLIVE German Poker Championship over the weekend.
The Super High Roller event was played at King’s Casino Rozvadov and it attracted 28 players, meaning only the top three players received money. Some notable names taking part in the event included Manig Loeser, Kenny Hallaert and Bertrand Grospellier, who bubbled the event in 4th place.
However, it was eventually Tony G who took home the biggest prize after making a deal with Jack Sinclair in the heads-up play. The Lithuanian businessman, poker player and politician earned €300,000 for his runner-up finish, while Sinclair was officially crowned as the champion after winning the heads-up against Tony G.
Tony G has remained largely absent from the poker spotlight in recent years, but has returned this year and played a few high stakes tournaments with some good results.
Sinclair, who just last month finished eight in the 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event for $1,2 million, received €250,000 + trophy for the win.
