Los Angeles Poker Classic Festival to Feature over 60 Events

Next year’s Los Angeles Poker Classic festival promises to be one of the largest poker events of 2017. The poker series are held on an annual basis at the Commerce Hotel and Casino complex. The full schedule for the massive festival encompasses over 60 events.

The Commerce Casino is already preparing for the L.A. Poker Classic series which will feature a $10,000 WPT No Limit Hold’em Championship main event. The L.A. Poker Classic festival is expected to take place January 13 to March 2.

The festival caters to the needs of different players as there are numerous options for all bankroll sizes. Buy-ins will range between $75 and $25,000 for the high-roller events. Players will be able to participate in a variety of games, including Omaha 8 or Better, Triple Stud, No Limit Hold’em, Triple Draw, 2-7 Single Draw, Limit Hold’em and Dealer’s Choice. A two-day HORSE event is also included in the schedule.

Justin Hammer, who occupies the position of a Tournament Coordinator for the L.A. Poker Classic festival, commented that even with the proliferation of poker tournaments in the past few years, only few of them can offer the kind of games and opportunities L.A. Poker Classic can provide to participating players.

Hammer praised the atmosphere at the poker festival and disclosed there will be new tournaments and new structures as well as longer levels. The Tournament Coordinator also shared players, who decide to partake in the festival, will benefit from huge guarantees and are even granted the opportunity to participate in various freerolls and satellites to win their buy-ins for other scheduled events. “Whatever game you are into, there are multiple opportunities to play,” the Tournament Coordinator added.

This year, the Commerce Hotel and Casino complex will award two $10,000 seats for the WPT main event in special freerolls for the players. One of them has an optional $60 add-on.

Players, who wish to attempt winning a seat for the $10,000 main event can do so without any obligation as long as they are of legal gambling age. In addition, there will also be a Player of the Series freeroll which will award three additional seats. Room rates for participants in the upcoming poker festival are set at $134 plus taxes.
