David Pham Wins the 2018 WSOP Circuit Bicycle Casino Main Event

Vietnamese-American professional poker player David Pham won the 2018 WSOP Circuit Bicycle Casino Main Event at the Bicycle Hotel and Casino. Pham defeated a field of 705 entries to win $216,790 in the WSOP Circuit Bicycle Hotel and Casino main event, the championship gold ring and a seat into the 2018 Global Casino Championship.

Three-time World Series Of Poker bracelet winner Pham known as ‘The Dragon’ in the poker world. Last week he exceeds the $10 million mark in lifetime live poker earnings with a win in the $1,600 no-limit hold’em main event at the Wynn Poker Classic for $240,254.

“I’ve had a great last 10 days,” said Pham after his win. “I’m feeling great and I played very comfortable. Even now, up in my mind, I know I’m going to be right there. I’m feeling great for so long. I don’t rush my mind to win and I know that there are a lot of good, young players. Now, there are so many tough, young players and I feel like I’m up there with them.”

David Pham came into the final day of this tournament in fourth chip position with 11 players remaining. There were plenty of notables joining on day 3, including former Card Player writer and video host Kristy Arnett, Nicholas Palma, Owen Crowe and Tom Braband.

David Pham started out fourth in chips position and continued to hang near the top of the chip counts as they lost Scott Saunders in 11th and Brett Murray in 10th to get to the final table. He remained calm until the table started to get short-handed. At that point, it was Pham, Owen Crowe and Tom Braband who began to pull far from the pack.
