Wpt La Poker Classic Final Table Live On Pokergo

$1 Million Awaits The Winner Of One Of The World Poker Tour’s Most Prestigious Events
WPT L.A. Poker Classic Season 2017-2018

The 25th annual Los Angeles Poker Classic Main Event played down to a final table of six last night and that group has just resumed play live on PokerGO. British pro Toby Lewis leads the way with a massive 5.3 million chip stack and he’s not only looking for his first World Poker Tour title, but also his second seven-figure score of the year.

Earlier this year, Lewis took down the Aussie Millions Main Event for $1.1 million and there is an even $1 million awaiting the LAPC Main Event winner. Seven-figure prizes aren’t commonplace in poker, although the World Poker Tour seems to featured them regularly, meaning Lewis’ result could have some serious historical significance if he can get the job done tonight. To make history, Lewis will have to navigate another $10,000 Main Event final table.

The lineup Lewis is set to face is made up of a variety of poker professionals and players looking to make their first real mark on the poker world. Marc Macdonnell, who returns third on the leaderboard, comes in with a solid tournament resume. The Irishman final tabled this year’s WSOP Millionaire Maker event.

Sandwiched between those Europeans is Dennis Blieden. The WPT first-timer is one of the only players within touching distance of Lewis and he will look to turn his World Poker Tour debut into a massive score. Peter Hengsakul and Manuel Martinez round out the lineup and even though they are at the bottom of the leaderboard, the entire final table is comfortably stacked.
