DOUG POLK LOSES $300K IN JUST THREE HANDS ON POKER NIGHT IN AMERICA

It looks like Poker After Dark was not the only show last week where poker fans got to witness some high-stakes action as there was some big action also on Poker Night In America (PNIA).

The PNIA cash game was played in Florida last weekend after the 2017 Seminole Hard Rock Open Championship and the game was also streamed live on Twitch.tv. The No-Limit Hold’em cash game started with $100/$200 blinds, but the stakes went higher later with straddles and the blinds peaked at $3,200/$6,400 just before the game wrapped up.

Some notable players in the game were recent WSOP bracelet winner James Calderaro, Jason Mercier and a slightly drunken Doug Polk, who ended up losing $300,000 in the last three hands of the night. However, it could have been worse as Polk was a big winner before the last three brutal hands and “only” ended up losing $120,000 in the game!
